ABOUT SARAH

I am a community-centric social entrepreneur born in San Leandro, California, and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I am blessed to have lived the last decade on Maui with my family. I am of Filipino and Dutch decent and have felt more alignment and attunement living in Hawai'i than I have anywhere else I've lived or traveled. The melting pot of Hawaiian, Asian and other Pacific Island culture spoke to my heart early on and has forever changed the way I see Myself, Myself in my community and the responsibility I have to both. I am passionate about learning, enriching lives and organizations of all types, and elevating all indigenous peoples from all lands. 

My goal is to elevate businesses, non-profits, groups, individuals, and families of my community by offering quality, affordable, benefit products and partnering with trusted, award-winning insurance carriers.  I also provide free education, consultative services, and referrals in the health insurance and financial industries. 

My experience overall is diverse. I’ve been a food server, restaurant host, event manager and restaurant manager. I sold real estate, managed heavily regulated compliance programs for hundreds of organizations, and developed and delivered mandated and custom training curriculums to federal, state, municipal and private entities. I launched and coordinated annual fundraisers raising in excess of $100,000 over a campaign year. I have demonstrated success in helping employers become recognized as "choice employers" and have developed business for new and existing service lines while managing a number of Human Resources strategies, programs and activities for small, midsize and large companies. 

I have the unique lens of a former corporate HR Director and a collective 15 years in  development and administration of attraction and retention strategies and programs for organizations in the Energy, Health, Hospitality, Occupational and Safety Industries.

I attended the University of Alaska Anchorage, a credentialed Professional in Human Resources (PHR), certified Substance Abuse Program Administrator (C-SAPA), and licensed health insurance broker. 

I am most inspired by the silent transformational leaders that work tirelessly with our communities' most vulnerable populations. I have a particular passion for elevating those silent heroes.
